On Friday in the hall all the *cast in Te Waka Ako went into the hall for our second BIG rehersal. My Name is Babylon well thats my stage name and I have a mummy fish and daddy fish Mamalon and Papalon. I was SO excited when it was my turn to go up on the *stage* I remember all my lines just when I say "Mama Papa look what I found!" I wait a bit on accitendent. But I really like what our pruduction is about I haven't told my parents about the title Jasmine and Aladdin. 

*Cast (The people who were performing) *stage (The Waikowhai intermediate stage that Ms Sands mesured and used tape so we can know where the edge the stairs and backstage are on the actual stage at Waikowhai intermediate)

 Matariki🌟

Hey bloggers WHATS UP! Well let me tell you STARS! speaking of stars their is a cluster of stars that come out symbolysing the Maori new year, the cluster is called Matariki. On Thursday the seniors did Matariki activity rotations  We also did some activites our first activity was stop motion animation I was paired with the happy Hosanna. We planned on what Maori myth we gonna do we choose the story The Seven Sisters Of Matariki. The next activity we made a manu tuku tuku (kite). Me and Brittney worked together to stick everyones strips of paper. The third and final activity we did was.....  MAORI FRY BREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was SO good and I choose Nutella as my topping. My favourite was the...MRI FRY BREAD! I liked it because it was really yummy and fun to make!

     

Cross Country

 Yesterday we had our Cross Country. I was in the Year 5 girls group, we did a few activities first like playing on the playground, tennis, duck duck goose and the blindfold game. The it was time to run. We had to do two laps of the course, after one lap I was struggling to breathe so I sat the next lap out. Daiki came first for the bys, and Caja came first for the girls. Overall it was a fantastic day, everyone wore their house colours so it was bright and colourful.
