Our Portraits 😁

                            Our  Portraits 😁

Talofa lava  bloggers, in Te Waka Ako we have been working hard to make our decade portraits. First we sketched what we wanted our portraits to look like. My portrait was going to be a Samoan and Maori then I added a little touch of 2020 looks. When we finished our teachers took a photo of us printed it out and cut our face in half. (not actually.) We practised our portraits again with our other half of our face. After we finished we painted our back ground. Then we glued on our face on and started sketching our other half of our face. When we finished sketching our face we coloured it in mine isn't finished yet but here is my portrait!

  1. Heya Arielle, great to see you finishing off your old blog posts. The image is not showing up on your post. Mayb e take a screenshot of the portrait photo and add that in instead. I would love to see what you have been up to during lockdown with your family. Put a blog post up and have a look at the other students as well. There are heaps of cool things happening in peoples homes. Stay safe Kia atawhai kia kaha

  2. Good afternoon Arielle, it's great to see that you are sharing your learning with us. Make sure you follow Ms Sands' instructions above, so that we can actually see your image.
I haven't completed any visual art during this lock down time, however, I am trying to play my accordion more proficiently, so I have been practising.
We'll look forward to hearing more about your learning and activities over the next few weeks. Remember to check out other peoples' blogs - they might inspire you to do something different, or it might just be nice to connect with people. Take care.

  4. Hi Arielle. it's great to see you are blogging during lockdown. I will keep checking your blog to see if you have managed to take a screenshot and put that on your blog post. You could focus on finishing the drawing half of your portrait off too.
I'm very glad to hear you weren't actually cut in half :-0
It would be great to see some term two learning on your blog since we are all at home during lockdown. Your teachers would enjoy seeing your home learning work.
Stay safe and well in your bubble and we will see you when we are all back at school.
