Spark arena!
Talofa readers! Today was one of the best trips I have ever had! All the year sixes had gone to a trip to the Spark Arena on one of the fanciest buses I have ever been in! When we got out of the bus Me, Faith, Chrystelle and Erana were SUPER excited because we have been waiting for an exciting trip that was calling our names. When we got into the arena we had an explanation by Suzy Cato she also had this T.V show that I used to watch.
Our first out of three activites was the Happy Place! It sounded pretty good but also a bit TO happy. My expectation was the EXACT OPPOSITE of my expectations. When we walked in there was a slide and a MASSIVE ballpit. We all took off our shoes and went four at a time to jump in induvidually or together I was in line with Faith, Erana and Santanna.
When we jumped in we couldn't get out! Faith couldn't even see anything! We ran to the photo booth place and I bumped into a mirror that was at the end.We passed the cookie and upside down room. In the next room there was a BIG ball that looked like a snowglobe and we went in and saw confetti on the ground and chucked it in the air and in each others faces. We took photos of ourselves while throwing the confetti in the air.
It was fun until we went to the sounds fun and we went into the room we first came into. We tried some drumpads and pianos and drums and trumpets we went into groups and went to the drum pad set. But the sound wasn't working and we went to go explore the other activites. Firstly there was SIGNED posters of some VERY famous singers like:
Six60, Maroon 5, Jessie J, Beyonce and even The Potato Band! It was getting close to the end and I decided to try some out. First I tried the online piano and we were shown the keys and played them when the yellow line came we pressed the keys and they either glowed green, purple, orange or red.
Then came the Van Gogh experience there were quotes about what Van Gogh wrote and his sketches and went to this big dark room that had Van Gogh's pictures and paintings on the screens and we all went and sat on the floor that had some pictures from a projecter and it look like we were part of the painting and we also heard the sounds of the piano from Mozart and Bach.
At the end of the sessions we all came out of the arena with a smile. It was very cool to see lots of diifrent things in the arena. At the end we were also very hungry and we were lucky enough to get food! We got a sandwich, ready salted chips with some apple jucie. I was very happy here and I really want to come again. With my parents . . .
And as we always do photos! WARNING A LOT

Wow Arielle, it looks as though you certainly had a lot of fun! You've given a clear and detailed recount of each section of the day. If you had to choose a favourite, which would it be and why? I'd love to know how you felt when you visited the exhibition again with your family...did you spot things that you didn't notice before? Awesome selection of photographs to support your blog recount, malo lava Arielle.
